Restore Picnic - A Complete HIT

Balloon toss What an incredible day it was at Restore  on Sunday.  We are in the series "Making Life Work" taking a look at the book of Proverbs.  It was great talking about "Truth" and challenging people to take action to:

  • Tell the Truth to others
  • Tell the Truth to themselves
  • Tell the Truth to God

Right after service we had our first ever all church picnic.  The weather was unbelievalble.  It was such a great event. We had food...lots of food and music, face painting, Jump up moon jumps and the required family fungame for kids and families (water ballon toss).  The best thing was just hanging out and chatting with new friends.Judiann facepainted  I love the people who are Restore.

After it was over we took the extra food to the Kansas City Rescue Mission and the local fire station and both of them very happy.  I can't wait to do this again.

Wow, I'm bummed I didn't see you. But I hope you enjoyed your ice cream!

Jennifer,

Sorry we didn't get to connect at NACC. I saw you walking out of Graeters, as I was heading in. Thanks for your encouragement and support for us here in KC.

Amie,

Things are going well. Thank for your prayers and encouraging words.

Great to see you on stage at the NACC tonight and to hear about the great things happening at Restore!

Things seem to be going well at Restore. I'm so excited to see what God is doing there - but we miss you here!!!
